EPISODE 25: Embracing Your Unique Soul's Voice | Day 25 Leading With God's Heart
Day 25 of Leading with God's Heart could free you from years of comparison and people-pleasing. Drawing from Ephesians 2:10 ("We are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works"), Desiree Day explores how God designed you with unique voice, perspective, and gifts that reflect a particular facet of His character.
Many of us waste time and energy trying to lead like someone else—mimicking their style, adopting their strategies, measuring success by their metrics. In the process, we lose ourselves, silence our own voice, and hide our own gifts. There's a difference between learning from someone and trying to become them.
True influence emerges when we embrace our authentic, God-designed voice. This doesn't mean rejecting growth or feedback—it means filtering everything through the lens of your unique design and calling. It means asking: "Is this helping me become more fully myself, or trying to make me into someone else?"
The world doesn't need another copy. Your people don't need you to be like that other leader. They need you—fully, authentically, courageously you. When you stop trying to be someone else and start fully being yourself, that's when you become most effective. Authenticity attracts. Imitation repels.
The shift action guides you to identify three aspects of your unique leadership voice and how each distinctiveness serves people in ways no one else can. This is stewardship of divine design.
