E73: Day13 How I Made My Private Faith Public | Birthed into Purpose

Baptism wasn't private. It was PUBLIC. Done in the Jordan River where everyone could see. A visible declaration: "I'm repenting. I'm changing. I'm all in."

In this bold episode, Desiree Day challenges us to move from secret believer to visible participant. Because private faith is safe, but public faith is transformative.

We love keeping faith private—praying in our closet, reading our Bible alone, believing quietly. It's comfortable. But at some point, God says: "Go public." Not for show. Not for attention. But because:

  • Public declaration solidifies private belief
  • Visible faith inspires others
  • Going public makes you accountable
  • Your testimony might be someone else's breakthrough

A faith that can't be shared isn't strong enough to sustain you. You can't keep your faith in your back pocket and expect it to change the world.

The difference between BOLD and OBNOXIOUS:

  • Bold: "I believe in Jesus, and He's changed my life. Can I tell you?"
  • Obnoxious: "You're going to hell if you don't believe what I believe!"

We need more BOLDNESS, not more OBNOXIOUSNESS. And it's time to stop hiding who you are.
